At larger twist angles, artefacts due to the moiré structure appear in the reconstruction. A method for the reconstruction of the average interlayer distance is presented. As for resolution, the interlayer distance can be reconstructed by the holographic approach at an accuracy of ±0.5 Å, which is a few hundred times better than the intrinsic z-resolution of diffraction limited resolution, as expressed through the spread of the measured k-values. Moreover, we show that holographic CBED imaging can detect variations as small as 0.1 Å in the interlayer distance, though the quantitative reconstruction of such variations suffers from large errors. The association between drug use and condomless anal sex (CAS) is well documented among sexual minority men (SMM). Less is known about whether this association generalizes to marijuana and across relationship status and sexual agreements groups (single, partnered monogamous, partnered open -outside partners permitted, and partnered monogamish -outside partners permitted when main partners are together).
A nationwide sample of SMM (N = 65,707) were recruited through a geosocial networking app between November 2017 and November 2019. Participants reported on drug use and instances of CAS with casual partners in the previous 30 days.
Both marijuana and club drug use were associated with the occurrence of CAS with casual partners among single men. Only club drug use was associated with CAS frequency in this group. The association between marijuana and the occurrence of CAS did not differ significantly among monogamous men, while the associations between club drug use and the occurrence as well as frequency of CAS were significantly weaker. Meanwhile, the associations between club drug use and the occurrence as well as frequency of CAS did not differ significantly between single and non-monogamous (open and monogamish) subgroups; however, the association between marijuana and the occurrence of CAS was significantly weaker.
Findings largely replicated the robust association between club drug use and CAS with casual partners. They support the assertion that marijuana use predicts sexual risk for some SMM subgroups. Finally, they illustrate the potential for relationship status - and sexual agreements - to contextualize associations between drug use and CAS.

Results indicated that although SDZ reduced the removal efficiency of NH4+-N and TN (up to 12%) and TOC (up to 6%) at low C/N (2.5 and 4), it had no significant effect at high C/N (6 and 9). It was found that SDZ was removed 75% and 58% at high C/N of 9 and low C/N of 2.5, respectively. SDZ decreased the ratio of volatile biomass/total biomass and sludge particle size and increased the concentrations of extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) and soluble microbial product (SMP) in MBR. Consequently, this accelerated the membrane fouling rates, with an average increase of 6.85 kPa/d at low C/N (2.5) and 0.513-0.701 kPa/d at medium and high C/N (4, 6 and 9).Microplastics (MPs) are an environmental problem of growing concern. Aquatic sediments are considered as a final sink for MPs, but dredging can remobilize sedimentary MPs into both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Although dredging is globally used for waterway deepening and ecological restoration, the environmental impacts of dredging on MP pollutants has not been previously assessed. In this study, Nile Red staining combined with micro-FTIR methods showed sediments containing high MP concentrations (6060-37610 n/kg?DW) from urban/suburban segments of a plain river network in Southeast China. The dredged sediments were stored in piles on farmlands, whereby MPs were subsequently dispersed to surrounding soils and surface waters while awaiting a permanent disposal option. MP concentrations in the soils surrounding the pile were higher in the dry season (wind dispersion), while MP concentrations in waters downstream of the piles were higher in the wet season (rainfall/runoff erosion). Whether dredge sediments are finally used to fertilize farmland, as fill material for coastal land reclamation or dumped into the ocean, MPs have the potential for remobilization into the environment causing concerns with aquatic food webs, agricultural production and human health. Therefore, disposal of dredge sediments containing MPs requires careful assessment to minimize potential environmental impacts. In this study, the reaction between sulfidated nanoscale zero-valent iron (S-nZVI) and heavy metal cations as well as the role of sulfur were investigated. The results showed the corrosion products of S-nZVI were lepidocrocite (γ-FeOOH) or/and magnetite (Fe3O4), depending on heavy metal species. While the removal of Hg(II), Ag(I), Cu(II), and Pb(II) by S-nZVI was rapid and could achieve over 99% within 5?mins, the removal of Ni(II) and Zn(II) was low in efficiency and unstable. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/AZD0530.html Sulfur was existed as iron sulfides at fresh S-nZVI, but was displaced by the heavy metals and formed the related sulfide compound, or oxidized to S0 and SO42-. The removal mechanisms are strongly dependent on the solubility product constant (Ksp) of metal sulfides. For Hg(II) and Ag(I), with Ksp of corresponding metal sulfides much lower than that of iron sulfide, the removal mechanism is the displacement reaction. For Cu(II) and Pb(II), with Ksp of corresponding metal sulfides moderately lower than that of iron sulfide, the removal mechanisms are the displacement reaction and complexation with surface groups of S-nZVI. For Zn(II) and Ni(II), whose Ksp of corresponding metal sulfides slightly lower than that of iron sulfide, are mainly removed by complexation with surface groups of S-nZVI.
